Follow our tips to get a better advertising at your website:
Placement: Be sure the advertising is as visible for the users as possible. Give the banners a central position at your sites. The start site often makes the best result. We have also good experiences with placing the banners near the users attention. It could be between thumbs and pictures.
When a new site is launched a popup is recommended to make all users aware of the news. There will always be a small group of users trying everything new and their attention can be catched quickly with a popup and make a good start.
Persistensy: Keep the advertising going for a longer time. According to our experiences the user has to be teased several times so it might take a while before he buys.
Give the website a permanent place at your website - either as a text link or a small banner. Your user will then know where to find the paysites if they want to submit again.
Variation: Don't use the same banners all the times. Or else the user will get used to the advertising.

Ingenuity: Nothing works better than new ideas. You are welcome to design the advertising yourself. Then you can add that personly or graphic look that makes it sale. You can also write your own texts to the advertising in which you recommend the products yourself. You know your users and they like your style so don't underestimate your skills as a promoter.
